About a month after the victory of Beijing Express, Damiano Carrara he finally broke the silence by talking not only about his experience in realitybut also of the criticisms received and the so-called “Caressa Gate“. During the program, Damian and his brother Maximilian (who together were “The Pastry Chefs“) have always been very focused on the game and the competition, always just aiming to the final goal. This led them to make a decision that made viewers suffer a lot, namely to eliminate the Caressa (Fabio and his daughter Eleonora) in the sixth episode. From there, many controversies arose, both because the commentator and his daughter were much loved by the public, and because of the long-standing friendship between the pastry chef and the Caressa family.
For years, in fact, Damiano Carrara work together with Benedetta Parodiwife of Fabio Caressato the Real Time program “Bake Off”. After the argument in Beijing Express, there were rumors that Parodi had not appreciated the behavior of Damian, so much so that I’m thinking of replacing it in the cooking program. These speculations gained traction when a photo of the presenter with the others was published judges and the new entry Iginio Massarisuggesting that it may have taken the place of Carrara. However, the pastry chef wanted to categorically deny any gossip.

Last February, the pastry chef announced that he would soon become a father together with his wife Chiara Maggenti. It’s about the challenge more important and beautiful to his life, to which Carrara is preparing with great enthusiasm:
I’m preparing as best I can. I can’t wait to become a father, it’s the best thing that could happen to me. We still don’t know the name. We have 7-8 that we like, but my wife says she wants to see their faces before deciding. We will choose together as soon as she is born.
