Giacomarro Revolution. Pistoiese, here’s the coach

First the rapprochement between the parties, then the halt to the negotiations in light of the inclusion of Fidelis Andria and finally the decisive acceleration that will lead to the signing of the contract in the next few hours. The negotiations that will bring Domenico Giacomarro to sit on the bench of FC Pistoiese lasted for almost two weeks, but in the end the white smoke arrived. Two days ago we already reported that the Orange ownership had returned to the charge once they learned of Giacomarro’s no to the Apulian club. In the last forty-eight hours the parties have intensified contacts to the point of obtaining a definitive yes from the Sicilian coach, who had admitted that he was waiting for a response from Pistoiese. The positive response has arrived and now everything is ready to celebrate the wedding.

The first coach of the new orange course will therefore be the one who obtained five promotions from Serie D to professionals, the last of which two months ago at the helm of Team Altamura. Giacomarro, born in 1963, fits the profile of a winning and expert coach in the category, even though he has only worked in Tuscany with Grosseto in the 2015/2016 season and above all has never coached in Group D. The first piece, as well as one of the most important, he is therefore ready to be placed in his place, with the Orange management who, once Giacomarro’s arrival has been formalised, will be able to dive headlong into building the squad. In this sense, some players have already been linked to the orange team for several days, but it is obvious that it will be the new technical guide who expresses his opinion on the incoming market. However, it cannot be ruled out that some of the players who finished the season at Aglianese could be part of the new Pistoiese.

According to radio market, goalkeeper Valentini, defender Viscomi and midfielders Grilli and Marino could move from black-green to orange. We will then have to understand if Giacomarro wants to bring with him some of the faithful with whom he won the championship in Altamura. Among them there is also Nicola Loiodice, an attacking winger who scored 15 goals in the last championship, who has announced his farewell to the Apulian club. Simple coincidence or market clue?
