The ordinary round of the 2024 administrative elections took place on Saturday 8 June and Sunday 9 June. 62 Apulian municipalities interested in the electoral round are 55 those who elected the Mayor in the first round. Instead they are 7 the Municipalities that will go to the run-off round on Sunday 22nd and Monday 23rd June: Bari, Lecce, Manfredonia, Putignano, San Giovanni Rotondo and San Severo, Santeramo in Colle.

For the newly elected local administrators, this year too Anci is making a specific operational manual available with the aim of offering a clear and concise picture of the main obligations. Now in its fifth edition, the Anci manual for new local administrators this year is enriched with new focuses, including those on equal opportunities, on the causes of disqualification from the Council, on the Office of the President of the City Council, just to name a few examples. Furthermore, the jurisprudence, including constitutional, has been updated regarding the non-transferability of positions in investee companies, or in the matter of the attribution of management skills to the members of the executive body. The Manual contains models, drafts of administrative documents and first resolutions, as well as forms for declarations of absence of causes of incompatibility and eligibility of positions, which provide ready-to-use practical tools.
