In Pisa uA new student residence with 372 places will be built in the former Saint-Gobain area of ​​via Ponte a Piglieri. The Finint Investments company has stipulated, through the Pitagora Fund, a preliminary contract for the purchase and sale of an area of ​​approximately 10 thousand m2 in the south-east area of ​​Pisa, where the new structure will be built.

«The project – we read in a note – provides the construction of a complex in a reclaimed areawith the construction of a property and green areas equipped for leisure in the broader context of transformation and redevelopment of the site, once an industrial destination”.

Specifically, the Pisa student body will include in addition to the beds, all the services ancillary to the residenceincluding a welcome reception, a café and an area dedicated to laundry services.

«The operation responds to the need to guarantee greater spaces and places of residence on the academic front – explains the fund – in the Tuscan city, in fact, there is a university center of excellence which, however, to date cannot guarantee a housing offer for students adequate to the demand”.

In recent months the Pitagora Fund has concluded two other similar initiatives in Modena and Padua.
