The fifth stage of the 2024 Mille Miglia, (it started on 11 June from Brescia) will start from the Space cinema area in Viale Europa in Bologna tomorrow morning to arrive in Brescia mid-day. The 420 participating cars will arrive in the late afternoon today from Florence to Piazza Bracci in San Lazzaro, passing through the Parco dei Gessi e Calanchi dell’Abbadessa, an area certified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We then leave for Brescia tomorrow at 6.15 am from the Space cinema, then passing through Ferrara.

Among the peculiarities, this year too the Army returns to participate in the Mille Miglia in a non-competitive form. Two vintage cars from the Historical Museum of Military Motorization will travel the approximately 2,000 kilometers of the route: the 1951 Fiat Campagnola, perfect for any terrain and the 1939 Lancia Aprilia Berlina, created specifically for the Mille Miglia and used by the military commands. Army. UnIveco Defense Vehicles will support the two splendid historic cars with a 4×4 MUV (Multirole Utility Vehicle) customized with the ‘IDV and Italian Army: Together let’s go full speed’ livery. Two specialized technicians from the IDV team are on board, ready to intervene and provide the necessary support and assistance to the cars throughout the entire journey.

As always, the historic race unfolds in five stages, the start and finish, as per tradition, are set in Brescia with stops in Turin, Viareggio, Rome, Florence and Bologna. In addition to the main cities, the 2024 Mille Miglia route passes through the beauties of our country between villages and municipalities in Northern and Central Italy.

Tomorrow’s final day will therefore see Bologna, Ferrara, Bovolone, Villafranca as protagonists, then Lake Garda with Valtenesi and Salò, where the event will end with the traditional catwalk in via Venezia.
