For the first time in the history of the City of Turin Rally, the Royal Palace of Venaria Reale will be the hub of the event, hosting departures, arrivals and the competition headquarters. This shift represents a radical change in the physiognomy of the race.
The Rally Città di Torino, now in its 39th edition, is preparing to surprise enthusiasts and participants with a 2024 edition full of new features and significant changes. Promoted by RT Motorevent, this year the rally will take place in a completely new location, framed by the magnificent scenery of the Royal Palace of Venaria Reale. This town, located a few kilometers from the center of Turin, welcomed with great enthusiasm the opportunity to host the prestigious motoring event, also in view of its role as “European City of Sport” for 2025.

Route rich in history
The race course has also undergone a significant transformation. Leaving the historic Col del Lys, the rally returns to embrace the famous streets of the Canavese, proposing the atmosphere of the 90s, when the competition was a point of reference in the 2 Liter championship. This return to the origins will not fail to arouse emotions and memories among the participants and the most loyal spectators.
Program and special tests
The roar of the engines will kick off the event on Friday 23 August, with the sporting and technical verification operations which will take place in Lanzo, in Piazza Rolle, home of the Assistance Park. In the afternoon, teams will have the opportunity to test their vehicles during the shakedown.
The evening will see the presentation of the crews in the heart of the historic center of Venaria Reale, a few steps from the famous Royal Palace. This particularly evocative location promises to be the ideal setting for this moment of celebration.

The race will officially start on Saturday morning from Venaria Reale. The competitors will head towards Pessinetto to face the first special test, the “Monastero”, 14 kilometers long and covered in the reverse direction compared to previous editions. Subsequently, they will move to the Canavese area for two further special tests.
- Second Special Test: “Pratiglione”
About 11 km long, this test follows the route of the Ronde, but with some significant modifications. It will develop from the hamlet of Santi, passing through Carella up to Canischio, offering a challenging and technical route. - Third Special Test: “Borgiallo”
This test, 7 km long, will evoke the challenges of the past, starting from Bivio Nava, crossing Chiesanuova and finishing near Colleretto Castelnuovo.
