“As announced a month ago, the work carried out together with the representative of the Committees and by qualified managers and technicians of the public administration has borne fruit.

The Regional Council has in fact approved the draft resolution “Civic Uses – Agricultural University of Civitavecchia”.

Thanks to the work of recent months, the current resolution has taken shape which integrates the previous DGR n.476 of 2020 authorizing the Municipality of Civitavecchia to certify the non-existence of any civic use restriction on the Tenuta delle Mortelle. This is a source of enormous satisfaction because this resolution does justice to many families who have been waiting for years for the abolition of unjust constraints imposed on their properties and makes the all-diality of the entire Tenuta delle Mortelle official. The restrictions on civic use on the XIII Quartucci estate for which the enfranchisement sentences have been found still remain to be abolished, but this is a topic that will see us involved in the near future, also because it involves a much smaller number of families. Thanks therefore to the ROCCA Council for having acknowledged the request of the territory and thanks once again to the committees and their technicians, who allowed me to bring fundamental historical documents to the highest levels to unblock this unfortunate situation”.
