Udinese, Lorenzo Lucca redeemed from Pisa

Udinese have officially bought Lorenzo Lucca from Pisa. The Juventus club had until tomorrow (Friday 14 June) to pay 8 million into the coffers of the Tuscan club. The class of 2000 has signed a contract until 2028. This is the statement from the Friulians:

Lorenzo Lucca is definitely black and white! Today Udinese Calcio exercised the right of redemption on the young striker, who had a brilliant debut season in Serie A to say the least.

Signed from Pisa, the 2000-born player scored eight goals and four assists for Udinese in the league, plus one in two Italian Cup matches. The 12 goals in which he took part in this Serie A represent a record for precociousness in the last edition of the tournament: Lucca was in fact the youngest Italian player to reach this figure. Furthermore, the striker is the first top-flight debutant to score eight goals since 2015/16.

Constant talent and commitment that allowed the center forward to earn a call-up to the national team last March. Lucca has signed a contract with the club until 30 June 2028 with the aim of reaching ambitious goals together with Udinese.

Congratulations, Lorenzo!
