The monitoring of the construction sites of Rho the changing city continues. In recent days, the Mayor Andrea Orlandiaccompanied by the Deputy Mayor Maria Rita Vergani, by the competent councilors and technicians, visited various construction sites started in recent months. As regards the Mazzo area, the visit focused on the redevelopment of the properties in via Rosselli, owned by the municipality, and on the cycle path in via Ospiate, where a first inspection took place last February 15th. Both projects are financed by the PNRR in the PINQUA CO4 Regeneration Program of the Metropolitan City of Milan, for the improvement of the quality of living. The Heritage Councilor was present on site Nicola Violantethe manager Vittorio dell’Acquathe engineer Giovanni Battista Fumagalli responsible for the procedure, the designer and architect works manager Riccardo Recalcatirepresentatives of the appointed companies.

In via Rosselli 8 the installation of the new external coat is nearing completion, it has exceeded 70 percent of the surfaces. The finishes have been completed in 60 percent of the spaces affected by the construction site. We will soon have to proceed with the replacement of the windows and the installation of photovoltaic and controlled mechanical ventilation systems. The color chosen for the facades is sage green.

In via Rosselli 4 the facades are light gray for the residential part and dark pink for each stairwell. Here 70 percent of the coat is completed, the finishing still needs time. Windows and shutters are missing and the roof still needs to be fixed. There four hundred meter long cycle path, built along via Ospiatenext to the houses on Via Rosselli, is 97 percent completed: only the horizontal signs and two signs indicating the passage reserved for bicycles and pedestrians are missing.

The new section is between via Tommaso Grossi and via Morandi. It was designed to connect already built cycle paths, creating a safe route. The bituminous conglomerate base layer was delimited by concrete curbs, the lighting poles were moved to give more space to bicycles and pedestrians, as agreed with the Mobility Councilor Valentina Giro. When the works in this part of the city are completed, the Mayor will also visit thefitness area in the park in via Rosselliwhere the works are well underway but the installation of the children’s games is awaited.
