The lack of promotion to Serie A certainly still left some traces of bitterness in Pordenone, but the determination of president Onofri, demonstrated after the defeat in Faenza against Manfredonia, soon got the whole Friulian environment back in motion, now working for the next season in Serie A2 Elite.
To try again, however, we will need to sharpen the blades, so what shots can we give to Mr. Marko Hrvatin who has just been renewed? A first name could correspond to a well-known face in the PalaFlora area: we are talking about Zan Koren.
Already in the black and green in the 2020-2021 season, the Slovenian international born in ’97 left the ‘lizards’ for the first time in the following year to join Hellas Verona. The summer after he returned to Friuli for a second spell with the Naonians, only to then say goodbye again in July 2023 to join Sporting Altamarca where he played the last Serie A2 Elite championship.
If Koren were to return to Pordenone, it would therefore be his third act in the black and green jersey. Will it really be like this? For now this is just a #futsalmercato rumor, but it has often happened that a simple rumor has become reality.
