Starting next 17th June in the San Jacopo Laboratory of Pistoia, SS Cosma and Damiano of Pescia and L. Pacini of San Marcello-Piteglio will be the new management system of the Analysis Laboratory has been launched, already active in the San Giuseppe laboratory in Empoli and Santo Stefano di Prato. This activation is preparatory to achieving thenational objective of integration of regional health files i.e. the new Electronic Health Record 2.0. which will give the opportunity to take advantage of each clinic present in the national territory of the information contained in its Electronic Health Record (vaccinations, radiology reports, exemptions).
The transition involved various professional figures coordinated by a specifically appointed Steering Committee for months. It was activated in this delicate start-up and commissioning phase constant supervision by the professionals who have worked on the project in recent months.
The diffusion of the new management system Analysis Laboratory throughout the company territory also represents a strategic element for full integration between hospital and local services; it is about the introduction of innovative digital technologies. The Analysis Laboratory, in fact, is the key element for the provision of the services requested by Family Doctors, Clinics, hospital departments and emergency rooms.
The Company apologizes in advance if in the first days of activation there are longer waits at the sampling points and problems relating to the delivery of reports which will be attributable to the need to intervene to overcome critical issues that did not emerge in an initial phase of analysis and for which the commitment to rapid resolution will be maximum.
Please remember that in addition to collecting at the counter, other methods remain valid. It is possible to request collection online through Health Record which can be consulted and printed from home by accessing direct link of the Tuscany Region (https://fascicolosanitario.regione.toscana.it/) with electronic health card activated or SPID credentials. SPID credentials are issued by one of the authorized parties called Identity Providers. However, it is always possible to request a reprint of the report at the counter.
