The birth of the Leonardo hospital group was announced, the evolution and consolidation of the Abano polyclinic group, which also includes various local healthcare entities: Life Care medical center and Life Care laboratory in Pescara and the 4R medical radiology center in Montesilvano.
Gol (Leonardo hospital group) brings together nine accredited private structures located between Veneto, Marche, Abruzzo and Sardinia and the related companies that refer to Nicola Petruzzi, an entrepreneur from Abruzzo, and consolidates itself as an important player in the accredited private healthcare sector thanks to the results achieved in 2023.
Last year ended with a high level of productivity: the group’s facilities, as a whole, carried out 22 thousand hospitalizations, of which almost 16 thousand were for surgery (73% of the total). Furthermore, the structures provided a total of 1,074,000 outpatient services, of which 4,648 were surgical outpatients (cataracts, hernia, carpal tunnel, varicose veins, etc.) and 273,000 (approximately 25%) provided by the Abano Terme emergency room.
We remind you that a total of 1,161 people work in the group’s structures, including medical, nursing, administrative and support staff.
In detail, the Leonardo hospital group is made up of the Abano polyclinic, a hospital in the Veneto region, the Foniatria medical center and the Diaz nursing home in Padua, Villa Igea in Ancona, Villa Serena in Jesi, the Life Care medical center and from the Life Care laboratory in Pescara, from the 4R Medical radiology center in Montesilvano (PE) and from the Sassarese polyclinic in Sassari.
