MOLISE. The summer season arrives and we begin to suffer from water shortages, even if from our daily news there are realities that really have no respite throughout the year.
The manager of the technical services of Molise Acque, engineer Carlo Tatti, has issued a note calling for monitoring of the water resource. Exhortation sent to the Municipalities, Egam and Grim, as well as to the Molise Region.
«It is known that there is a decline in the supply of deep springs and even more so in superficial ones. The limited rainfall that characterized the past winter and spring season leads to maximum caution and attention. It is more essential than ever to avoid water dispersions and improper uses which increase exponentially with rising temperatures. At the moment, the supply from the springs is monitored daily by Molise Acque technicians, and the possibility that the surface springs could show a sudden drop in the flow rate supplied cannot be ruled out.
Having said this, it represents the absolute necessity for all the subjects involved to provide for an indispensable optimization of the use of the water resource and monitoring of the correct use of the resource in order to limit possible disservices to the end user”.
