Get into a ring and, between reflections, information and entertainment, decide the destinies of the Earth. And defend it from “Climate changes” because of which we risk risking our future.
Provocation, but terribly realistic, that of Confartigianato Varese and ArtserThat Tuesday 25 Junebring on stage at The homonymous “conference-show” is the sorceress of Gallarate” with free entry signed and performed by consumer psychologist Massimo Bustreo And by the economist behavioral Luciano Canova.
The event, fresh from the full house of Trento Economics Festivalis the last of the seasonal events that Artser dedicates to sustainability, to contribute to raising awareness, training and the ESG transformation of companies. From October to May, over two hundred entrepreneurs met with experts and high level professionals within Artser, to understand how to accommodate now inevitable changes, also driven by the regulatory push given by Europe and the markets.

INVEST IN A POSSIBLE FUTURE

«Now, at Maga, we are open to businesses, their employees, public institutions, representatives of associations, citizens and, above all, to the many young people sensitive to environmental issues and, with them, to schools» comments the general director of Confartigianato Varese and Artser, Mauro Colombo. Objective: invest in a possible future and do so consciously.
There centrality of Gallarate with respect to the provincial geography, and the strongly contemporary and time-oriented vocation of Maga, are ingredients of this event which, from 9pm sharp, will transform the Tapestry room in the “ring” of “CambiaMenti Climatici. Are we risking our future? The perfect storm of irrational behavior” (including that of many of us). Directed by Emanuele Pasqualini (Pantakin), script supervision of Alessandra Scotti, the event will allow a comparison with the strong and pointed personalities of Bustreo-Canova, which will transform into rationality and emotionality, feelings that will translate into a match in ten rounds divided into two halves which will directly involve the public.

GUESTS AND HOUSEHOLDS

Next to a large board which will separate the “home team” and the “away” teamwe will see a huge emotional thermometer that will mark the degrees of global warmingwhich will be as high as the challenges launched by the actors, the guests in the room will respond with the fragility of emotion rather than with the awareness of reason. The “home” team will bring emotional and irrational (unsustainable and destructive) decisions to the field. Guests will see cognitive and rational decisions at play, that is, choices destined to save us from destruction.

EVERYONE MUST PARTICIPATE IN THE GAME

«The Earth is a spectator, active, participant, involved. She will still survive human behaviors, even the least appropriate, unreasonable and unsustainable ones. But we? Will we as rational citizens be the ones to lose the game?” ask themselves the two teachers on stage, who will take advantage of their knowledge, cell phones, and playing cards, to bring the highest degree of awareness. «We know how many companies are already involved in the ecological, social and governance transition today, but we know equally well that, without the direct participation of employees, citizens, institutions and young people, many efforts may not have the impact we need to aim for” continues Colombo, who has chosen to carry this message of clarity around Italy by sponsoring other conference-shows.

SUSTAINABILITY MUST COME INTO OUR LIVES

«We do this to send a signal that is not “washing” but concrete, as the seven events proposed during the season were concrete and as will be those we will propose after the summer. Concrete as are the actions that we bring to businesses, accompanying them in certifications and change, and as concrete as this message of knowledge that we address first of all to families and young people, who they will have to bring sustainability, awareness and courageous choices into our society and businesses» reiterates Colombo.

TEN GAMES

The structure of the conference-show includes ten games divided into two halves. And an interval. Each game simulates a bias, i.e. a mental trap. And the public will decide the choices of the two teams in every game. The outcome of the game will allow you to experience the effects of climate change first-hand. Appointment on June 25th, with mandatory registration and reception from 8.30pm, in the Tapestry room of the Maga Museum of Contemporary Art in Gallarate, in via Egidio de Magri 1.
