From today, 13 June, it is also possible to request the National Identification Code (CIN) in Veneto for accommodation facilities. The news is reported by Ministry of Tourism through a published statement on his site.

The experimental phase of the National Database (BDSR) continues. During the adaptation phase, until September, no sanctions will be imposed.

The experimental phase is expanding

After Puglia, also the Veneto Region enters the experimental phase of the National Database of Accommodation Facilities and properties intended for short-term rental or for tourism purposes (BDSR).

This digital platformintroduced to improve the management of accommodation facilities in Italy, now allows Veneto facilities to register and request the National Identification Code (CIN).

Through the BDSR platform, property owners can request the CIN, which is necessary for publishing advertisements and for external exposure of the structures.

Access takes place via digital identity, and allows owners to view and update data relating to their facilities. This process is regulated by art. 13-ter of legislative decree no. 145/2023.

Voluntary adaptation and timing

During this experimental phase, there are no sanctions for those who do not comply immediately. Citizens have the opportunity to comply with the new rules well in advance, without fear of incurring penalties.

This phased approach aims to facilitate the adoption of the new system.

Application of sanctions

The sanctions and obligations provided for by the art. 13-ter of legislative decree no. 145/2023 they will become effective only 60 days after the publication of the Official Notice in the Official Journalexpected by 1 September 2024.
