Quartu police officers have arrested a man on suspicion of the crime of evasion, resistance and contempt of a public official. On Saturday evening, the men of the police station of Quartu Sant’Elena, during an ordinary control service of the territory, intervened in Piazza Spolitu Fracasso, where according to reports, inside a bar, a man in obvious drunken state was causing disturbance to employees and customers.
According to what was reported, when subjected to checks, the reported man, a 49-year-old local man, railed and threatened the officers with an aggressive and outrageous attitude which he also maintained during transport in the service vehicle, kicking the windows. Accompanied to the offices of
Commissariat for the ritual activities, it emerged that the man, with several previous cases for crimes against property and drugs, appeared to have been released from the Uta prison the previous morning, for the continuation of the expiation of the remaining sentence under home detention.
The facts ascertained by the police operators were subjected to the evaluation of the investigating judge who, during the hearing, validated the arrest and, accepting the plea bargaining request, sentenced the man to one year of house detention.
