Savona: “Malarazza”, a vortex of female stories between food, obsessions and resilience

Savona. Saturday 15 June at 4pm in the evocative setting of the Sala Rossa of the Municipality of Savona, the writer Marzia Pistachio will present his new anthology “Malarazza”published by Black Dog with the patronage of the Municipality and the collaboration of the “Garbarini and Boristene” cultural club of Ellera.

A kaleidoscope of female voices. The event promises to be an unmissable opportunity to immerse yourself in a raw and touching narrative universe, where food becomes a metaphor for complex lives, of tenacious and resilient women who fight against adversity and injustice.

The protagonists of “Malarazza”. The voices of some prominent female figures from the Savonese cultural panorama will enrich the presentation: Maura Montalbetti, Simona Peluffo, Liana Cappato, Eliana Zunino, Nicoletta Negro, Zoe Toschi, Emma Profetto, Silvia Celeste Calcagno, Nico Amoroso And Angela Cascio. Their readings and reflections will transform the presentation into a real performance, amplifying the evocative power of Marzia Pistacchio’s stories.

A combination of words and images. The illustrations of Eleonora Visconti, characterized by an exuberant expressive force, intertwine harmoniously with the author’s words, giving further depth and intensity to the stories. The preface of Nicoletta NegroCouncilor for Culture of the Municipality of Savona, completes the volume, offering a precious key to understanding the issues addressed.
