MONZA (ITALPRESS) – State Police officers intervened at a bar in Monza, as a girl, following a reprimand received for the danger she was causing to passers-by due to the way she rode her bike, had started to threaten and physically attack the owner of the restaurant and his customers, hitting the former with a slap in the face. When the police arrived, the girl, a 20-year-old Italian citizen, also began to address insults and death threats to the officers of the Monza and Brianza Police Headquarters. During the intervention, in an attempt to divide the disputing parties and restore calm, the girl began to repeatedly slap and kick the policemen who intervened.
In anger, the 20-year-old also grabbed a glass ashtray placed on one of the tables outside the bar, then threw it at an officer. In an attempt to contain the aggression shown, the policemen were again hit with kicks and slaps all over their bodies and one of them suffered a bruise on his left hand. Secured in the company car, the girl began to repeatedly hit the windows of the passenger compartment with the intention of breaking them. Once in the police headquarters, she continued to insult them and then spat on them several times and kicked her repeatedly. So she was arrested for violence, threats and resistance to a public official, as well as for aggravated assault. The 20-year-old, already known to the Police Headquarters offices for her precedents in drug matters and in matters of violence and threats to a public official, had recently been the recipient of an Oral Warning provision from the Police Commissioner of Monza and Brianza, as well as a “Daspo urban” with a ban on accessing and staying in the nightlife venues in via Bergamo and via De Gradi for a period of three years.
