On the occasion of the Salernitana-Verona football match, scheduled for Sunday 9 October at 3pm, at the Arechi stadium, the Municipality of Salerno has prepared a specific traffic plan, listed below.
1) Underpass in front of San Leonardo hospital – Piazzale Bottiglieri (height of Piazzale Settembrino roundabout) – Via Degli Uffici Finanziari, intersection Via Allende – Via Dei Carrari – Via Prudenza – Via Fangarielli – Viale Pastore – Viale Giacumbi – Parking area reserved for visiting fans – Parking area in front of “The Space” complex – Area in front of Novotel:
a) starting from 7.00 am and until the spectators leave, a ban on parking and stopping with forced removal is established for all vehicles, with the exception of residents only; b) starting from 12.00 and until the spectators leave, a traffic ban for all vehicles is established, with the exception of residents only;
2) Underpass in front of the hospital – Via dei Carrari overpass – Via Fangarielli, corner of Via Uffici Finanziari in the direction of the stadium: starting from 3.00 pm, and until the spectators have left, a ban on pedestrian transit is established, with the exception of residents only;
3) from 12.30 pm to 3.00 pm, one-way traffic is established with a west-east direction on Via S. Allende (Novotel-Viale Schiavone roundabout section). Consequently, in the same time slot, vehicles passing through Via Allende and coming from the Wenner roundabout heading west, once they reach Viale Schiavone, will not be able to continue further;
4) from 12.30 to 15.00, vehicles exiting Viale De Marco and Viale Schiavone are obliged to turn left; 5) from 12.30 pm until 3.00 pm, vehicles coming from Via Gen. Clark, heading east, having reached the Novotel roundabout, are also obliged to continue straight on Via Allende; 6) from 4.15 pm, and until the fans have left, vehicles coming from Lungomare Colombo, heading east, once they reach Traversa Romano, are obliged to turn left, except for residents.
