Balletti Motorsport returns to Trentino

After a dozen days from the satisfying trip to the Valsugana Historic Rally, a new dual commitment sees the Balletti Motorsport staff preparing to return to the province of Trento where, in the coming weekend, both the Rallye San Martino and the Trento hillclimb will take place – Bondone. Usually placed in other periods of the sporting season, both races take place for the first time in June and, rather singularly, share the same weekend.

Combined with the modern one valid for the Italian Rally Trophy, the Rallye San Martino Historique returns after a year of absence and will also feature two cars assisted by Balletti Motorsport at the start; if for the Porsche 911 RS of Claudio Zanon and Maurizio Crivellaro, the presence in San Martino di Castrozza is practically a ritual given the large number of participations in the previous editions, it will be quite another for the Subaru Legacy 4WD, recent winner of the Valsugana, which it will be entrusted for the first time to local Maurizio Pioner supported by Daiana Darderi. The race will take place between the days of Friday 14 June which involves the performance of the show test on the streets of San Martino di Castrozza, while on Saturday there will be six timed sections for around ninety competitive kilometres.

A second Porsche 911 RSA, also from the 2nd Group, will be at the start of the Trento – Bondone with specialist Umberto Pizzato at the wheel ready to face the challenging route of the longest race on the scene with over 17 kilometers to be tackled on the day of Sunday 16th, in a single heat.
