Lecce should speak even more French. The transalpine team is well composed in the team and now the first purchase of the 2024-2025 season should come from there. His name is Balthazar Pierret and today is his day. In fact, he is expected in the city to undergo medical examinations and then sign the contract that binds him to Lecce. After him his adventure in the Giallorossi shirt can really begin. Pierret had been optioned in January when Corvino went to scout him in the French Ligue 2. Small and not so secondary note, at the end of the championship Pierret was elected among the best in the category. His natural role is that of playmaker and therefore the natural formation, if the formation remained 4-2-3-1 it would be an alternative to Ramadani or Blin. This is net of departures, obviously. In the event of a change of formation he could compete with Berishia for a starting role in a three-man midfield. The footballer, born in 2000, concluded his experience with Quevilly, where with a public post in these hours he said goodbye to everyone, thanking them for the good season, declaring himself sorry for missing the appointment with the goal, saying he was happy to have had this experience and greeting the fans by swearing eternal love.
Season
In the season just ended Pierret played in Ligue 2, as mentioned, and was the protagonist of 31 matches, scoring 5 goals. He often ended up in the referee’s notebook, collecting 9 yellow cards. He also made 2 appearances in the Coupe de France. He played not only as a midfielder in front of the defense, but also as a central midfielder and as a central defender in 4 games. A real wildcard that reminds us a bit of Blin’s versatility. In December he suffered an ankle injury which kept him out of action.
Characteristics
Pierret is a natural left footer, standing 1.86 meters tall. Its market value is currently around one million euros. He turned 24 in May. He arrives in Lecce to strengthen the midfield, giving Mr. Gotti a lot of choice. In fact, since he arrived in Lecce, Ramadani and Blin have been immovable; with Berisha and Pierret we complete a department that seems to offer excellent guarantees.
More negotiations
The market, obviously, is in turmoil and there are many operations launched. The one who gets talked about, obviously, is Dorgu, highly sought after by many Serie A teams but also foreign ones. After the failed connection with Fiorentina, however, Lecce set the price for Krstovic at at least 10 million. Piccoli’s redemption is unlikely to happen.
