ALEXANDRIA – “For over a month I have been paying for a service that should be free.” So on Radio Gold a citizen of Alexandria described the hardship which, unfortunately, also affects other families. The service of free distribution of diapers and sleepers for people with disabilitiesin fact, suffered one stall. “The supply took place every month, thanks also to the support of local pharmacies. Since May 11th everything has stopped but my mother’s needs obviously do not allow for delays. This is why I organized myself to make the purchase myself.”
Contacted by Radio Gold, theLocal Health Authority of Alessandria explained that the company that supplies the devices (the CTVwhich took the place of SAF, ed.) was identified at regional level through a tender by the Region Client Company. “Following numerous reports of non-delivery, a new company has taken over since May 29th and is taking charge of recover back deliveries as soon as possible“ Asl explained further “we apologize for the inconvenience, however, it was not due to our shortcomings. Patients will be contacted again to reschedule the supply“. The situation, as the local health authority also announced, should be resolved by the end of the month.
“Also on behalf of Federfarma Piemonte, I would like to point out that we too have reported to the Piedmont Region several reports of delays” underlined the president of Federfarma Alessandria Luca Zerba Report card “Unfortunately we encountered several technical problems related to the change of the company responsible for distribution. As a union we had come forward to be able to contribute, even temporarily, in these transitional weeks.
