June 19, 2024 will be dedicated to the first edition of the (H) Open Day dedicated to Prevention for Women promoted by the Onda ETS Foundation which sees over 160 Italian Pink Stamp hospitals offering free clinical-diagnostic and information services to the population in some specialist areas. The objective of the Onda Foundation’s initiative is to promote correct primary and secondary prevention in all phases of life among the female population, from puberty to menopause, in relation to the hormonal changes that accompany and characterize them, impacting on health and psychological well-being -physicist.
In the province of Arezzo, the San Donato hospital in Arezzo and the Valdarno hospital with free medical visits are participating in the first edition of the day promoted by the Onda ETS Foundation. At San Donato the Open day is dedicated to breast medicine, diabetology, gynecology and urology.
At the Santa Maria alla Gruccia hospital, the 10 breast and ultrasound visits with clinical and breast ultrasound checks made available on the occasion of the Open Day were sold out in just a few days. However, it is still possible to book to undergo vaccination for the prevention of HPV : women who reach their 25th birthday can do so, or women who have had operations or injuries related to HPV infections or immunosuppressed women. To get vaccinated, you need to book by calling the number 055/9106590 from 8.30 to 12.30 until Friday 14 June. Vaccinations will take place on the afternoon of June 19th from 2pm to 3pm at the Public Hygiene Department – Vaccination Clinic – Ground Floor – Santa Maria alla Gruccia Hospital.
At San Donato in Arezzo on Wednesday 19 June, consultations and telephone interviews with the gynecologist will be available from 7am to 1pm on “360 degree prevention, from puberty to menopause” by calling the number 3297492785 on the day of the interview. No booking is necessary.
It will be possible on the same day, from 9am to 1pm, to have an in-person visit and teleconsultation with the urologist with the aim of providing urological prevention for women for all age groups. Reservation is required by sending an email to: [email protected] indicating in the email the type of consultation (in person or in person), the time you would like to have the visit/telephone consultation and leaving the number telephone number to be contacted for confirmation. The email must have the subject: “pink sticker day booking”. The consultation will take place on June 19th from 9am to 1pm at the surgical clinics, staircase 1st floor 1st room number 35.
The Senologia del San Donato organized an informative Open Day on Prevention in Senology and on how to carry out a correct breast self-examination. To get information about it, no reservation is necessary, just show up at the Palazzina di Senologia from 9 to 12 on Wednesday 19 June.
Diabetology participates in the Open Day with distribution of information material in the hospital hall and in Diabetology from 8am to 5pm.
