Pesaro, she feels bad during the scam and her husband calls the police: couple reported

PESARO – The wave of scams against the elderly does not abate. Yesterday too there was an attempt at Villa Ceccolini but the flying squad agents managed to report the two scammers: a couple of Campania origins, aged 44 and 45, already known for similar crimes and therefore subject to an obligation to stay Naples.

The script is always the same: they called an elderly lady on the phone, pretending to be the police and announcing that her son was in prison because he had caused a serious accident and they needed money and jewels to free him. The alarmed woman prepared everything she needed – that is, the valuables she kept with her – and left the house to go to court. But the two reached it at the Villa Ceccolini post office. The scam didn’t happen just because of a setback: the pensioner, perhaps due to her tension, felt a slight illness and asked to go home for a moment. The couple followed her but the woman met her husband who immediately understood that it was a scam and when she saw the two she started screaming, scaring them away. They immediately reported it to the police who set out on their trail. Thanks to the intelligence activity on the vehicle, the flying squad agents directed by Paolo Badioli managed to intercept the two and report them. The expulsion order has been issued and the request has been requested. The expulsion order has been issued and the aggravation of the precautionary measure has been requested.
