The planning of 57 public reconstruction interventions in the Marche region is underway. The commissioner for 2016 Earthquake Repair and Reconstruction, Guido Castelli, has in fact signed the allocation of 7.8 million euros to the Marche Special Reconstruction Office, a first advance payment to allow the procedures to move forward. A good result that marks a further step forward in the implementation of Ordinance 137, which has expanded and redefined the framework of urban reconstruction and regeneration interventions in the Marche, after careful discussion with the Region and the Municipalities.
«I want to thank President Francesco Acquaroli, the special reconstruction office of the Marche and the local administrations, who, in synergy with the commissioner structure, are continuing tirelessly in the planning phases of fundamental public works for social and economic reconstruction and repair of our territory – declares Commissioner Castelli -. The newly signed decree takes note of the progress of these projects initiated in February. A work that develops at 360 degrees to speed up as much as possible and reach the procurement and construction phases. I want to remind you that Ordinance 137 integrated 742 works into public programming, for 647 million euros.”
14 interventions are planned in the province of Fermo. TO Santa Vittoria in Matenano there will be an intervention on the Monteradaldo road and the Bore district (1.4 million euros). TO Falerone seismic improvement works are planned for the building housing the historical archive (350 thousand euros) and for the monument called Torrioni del shooting gallery (300 thousand euros). TO Montefortino three interventions are planned: the restoration of the viability of the roads in Sossasso (600 thousand euros), and of the roads Via D. Sbarra, Via Perticarà, Via Rio, Via S. Lucia (1.8 million euros), and the recovery and the redevelopment of the historic Santa Lucia cemetery (500 thousand euros). TO Servigliano three interventions will be carried out: the repair and strengthening of the 18th century monumental cemetery (500 thousand euros), the seismic improvement of the former Curetta primary school, intended as an associative and cultural hub (400 thousand euros), and the repair of the road infrastructure on the perimeter of the historic center (500 thousand euros). TO Montefalcone Apennines four interventions will be carried out: the reconstruction of the retaining wall and restoration of the road in the Tiro a Segno area (400 thousand euros), the consolidation of the wall on Piazza Roma and the redevelopment of the road system in Via Roma (800 thousand euros), the consolidation of the movements landslides in the town center on the south and north sides (2.3 million euros), and the restoration and seismic improvement of the historic loggia and the cemetery chapel (800 thousand euros). TO Montegranaro work is being done on the municipal cemetery (200 thousand euros).
Below are the interventions in the other provinces of the Marche. In Ascoli Piceno three interventions: the surrounding wall and the revision of the burial niches of the Mozzano cemetery (40 thousand euros), the renovation of the Town Hall-Palazzo dell’Arengo (3.8 million euros) and the Town Hall-Palazzo dei Capitani with bell tower and archaeological area (3 million euros).
In Venarotta three works: the restoration of the paving and road arrangements of various streets of the capital (1.39 million euros) and on the “old cemetery”, also in the capital (660 thousand euros), and the works on the cemetery of the hamlet Portella (470 thousand euros).
In Roccafluvione the multifunctional gym-centre will be repaired with an intervention to reduce the seismic risk (234 thousand euros).
Three interventions are planned in Rotella: the restoration of underground services and roads in the Poggio Canoso district and the capital (450 thousand euros), the consolidation of the retaining wall downstream of the sports field in Castel di Croce (150 thousand euros), and further works to restore underground services and roads in the Castel di Croce hamlet (450 thousand euros).
In Montalto delle Marche, the repair of earthquake damage and the redevelopment of the capital’s cemetery is financed (320 thousand euros).
31 interventions are planned in the province of Macerata.
In Visso, works will be carried out to mitigate the hydrogeological risk and rockfall in the area above the municipal purifier in Località il Piano (700 thousand euros) and damage repair and functional recovery works of the La Romita di Croce cemetery ( 620 thousand euros).
In Loro Piceno we will proceed with the restoration of the damage and the conservative rehabilitation of the city walls in the north-west ring road (200 thousand euros).
In Tolentino, works are planned for the structural improvement and functional restoration of Palazzo Sangallo (2.63 million euros) and the seismic improvement of the city walls from Porta Cappuccini to Porta Marina (244 thousand euros).
In Serrapetrona there will be six interventions: the restoration of the Watchtower (130 thousand euros), the restoration of the road system of via Castello di Borgiano (100 thousand euros), the seismic improvement and energy efficiency of the Le Casacce municipal building (1 .37 million euros) and the former clinic of Castel San Venanzo (1 million euros), the seismic improvement of the Borgiano cemetery (280 thousand euros) and the seismic improvement/adaptation and energy efficiency of the former elementary school of Caccamo (400 thousand euros).
Five interventions are planned in Caldarola: the redevelopment and urban regeneration of the area connecting via Faleriense with via Fiorenzuola (316 thousand euros), urban regeneration interventions in the areas of the center not affected by the implementation plans (224 thousand euros), the restoration and conservative rehabilitation of the Palazzo Associazioni (1.2 million euros), the restoration and consolidation of the historic walls of Piazza Cavallotti (22 thousand euros), and further urban regeneration interventions in the historic areas of the hamlets (1, 3 million euros).
In San Ginesio, damage repair and seismic improvement works will be carried out on the Civic Tower (1.5 million euros).
In Bolognola there will be four interventions: the seismic adaptation of the tool sheds and municipal vehicles (623 thousand euros), the restoration of the Località Pintura Dorsale Fargno Alto aqueduct (1.22 million euros), the seismic improvement of the cemetery complex municipal (678 thousand euros), and the consolidation of the walls of the Da Varano Castle (304 thousand euros).
In Castelraimondo, planning for the Carsignano road landslide is planned (60 thousand euros).
In Ussita the demolition and reconstruction of the former Crucianelli commercial premises in the Frontignano area will be carried out (120 thousand euros).
Eight interventions are planned in Monte San Martino: the restoration of the static safety of the football field wall (300 thousand euros), the repair and functional restoration of the municipal roads Giannini (150 thousand euros), Grazie di Sotto (130 thousand euros ) and Calciano (300 thousand euros), the restoration and repair of damage in the most damaged sections of the castle walls (330 thousand euros), the repair of the damage to Casa Facen in the San Venanzo district for tourist-accommodation purposes (270 thousand euros), the repair and functional restoration of the Ferrarini municipal road (140 thousand euros) and the restoration of the cemetery in the Barchetta district (300 thousand euros).
In the province of Ancona, an intervention is planned in Castelbellino for the conservative restoration and repair of the damage to the small church of the capital’s municipal cemetery (279 thousand euros)
