Colloredo of Prato since yesterday, Monday 24 June, it has its own basketball and basketball court. It is the fourth in Friuli, among the first in Italy too, suitable for playing inclusive basketball on a permanent basis. He comes after the founder of the Uncle Pino Baskin Arena in the area of the celebration park in Tavagnacco inaugurated on 21 July 2021, the year in which the idea of creating one in Colloredo was also born. It stands adjacent to the football field named after Giuseppe Foschiani, first president of the Pasian Sports Association of Prato. On the area which, before transforming it into a multi-purpose sports site, was used for dancing during the September and summer celebrations. It has a history and also a soul, therefore, which now also becomes inclusive. The basketball court in Colloredo, designed by the architects Francesca Rizzani And Cristina Franzil experts in the field, was built with fixed, rotating and removable structures for the immediate use of both disciplines. Already yesterday at the inauguration it was stormed by mini-basketball players who went home feeling like champions because they scored in the side baskets located at half court, specific to baskin, at lower heights and accessible for budding players compared to the canonical backboards for basketball. It is, therefore, an outdoor facility with immediate social impact that, in this sense, comes after the Arena Zio Pino in Tavagnacco and the court of Little riveralmost simultaneously with that of via Del Bon in Udine and before that of Ambrosoli park always in the city behind Piazza Primo Maggio. In Friuli there are also two others, a Turriaco And Gemonain which, however, the basketball baskets must be positioned from time to time and, therefore, the courts are not immediately usable by the first person who passes by.
For the hamlet of the municipality of Pasian di Prato, the inauguration of this further use of the sports area adjacent to the Foschiani field was a celebration, involving the new mayor Julie Peressiniin addition to the regional councilor Massimo Moretuzzo who was already at the first inauguration in Tavagnacco, without forgetting the former sports councilor of the Municipality of Pasian, Chiara Serra, which started the construction of the pitch.
