At the event were the mayor Giuseppe Falcomatà, with the sports delegate Giovanni Latella, Antonio Polimeni, the coach, and Marco Martino, general director. In greeting Domotek Reggio Calabria, the first citizen explained: «We felt it was our duty to host you here, before the “break ranks” at the end of this ride which has led to an extraordinary sporting result which has a social value. And which honors the city because it gives us further demonstration of how much a city can grow through sport and commitment to the territory. «Thank you for the pleasant surprise, we are proud and happy to be here today to have brought professional success to the whole city. We said it at the beginning of our story last summer at Palazzo Alvaro that we would make the pitch talk and so it was: we are proud of the final verdict that led us to realize this dream because in the first year it was not easy or obvious. Thanks to our boys who made us experience the championship always with the wind in our sails which increased the enthusiasm of the people of Reggio. For us today this goal is a starting point, we want to grow with the humility that has distinguished us since our first steps” he added the director Martino.
