To find out about ongoing urban regeneration projects

On Wednesday 12 June, a delegation of technicians and administrators from the metropolitan city of Bologna will be in Trento to learn about urban regeneration and sustainable mobility routes and projects: from the former Michelin area to the Albere neighbourhood, from the tunnels to the intermodal hub, from bicipolitana at zone 30.

The aim of the visit is to better understand the strategies, urban planning processes and difficulties linked to the various projects that have become a reference at a national level.

This is the general programme: at 11:00 in the Falconetto room we will talk about the burial of the historic line as predicted by the architect Busquets. Among the topics on the agenda also Nordus or the extension of the Trento Malé, the project of the new intermodal hub at the former Sit, the cable car towards Monte Bondone, the cycle/pedestrian walkway and the development projects of the right Adige. Some examples of urban regeneration will also be illustrated: the Albere (formerly Italcementi), the Santa Chiara open Lab with the former Lettere cultural center, right Adige (formerly Italcementi) and the ex Atesina area.

In the afternoon, meeting at Albere at 2.00 pm and walking along the Adige river to the information point of the Hub ex Sit; the visit continues to the Piedicastello galleries and then by electric bus to the former Atesina area.
