Next weekend the city of Pistoia will be colored yellow and red. Over two hundred Roma fans will arrive in the city for the planned world meeting of Roma Clubs organized by the Roma Club Città di Pistoia.
The arrivals are confirmed, in addition to the leaders of the Italian Roma Club Association, clubs from Finland, New York, Paris, Brussels, Madrid and Slovenia and from many cities in the national territory.
The first arrivals of the participants as early as Friday 14th which includes a visit to the headquarters of the club organizing the event and followed by dinner with musical entertainment by Luca Floridi at the “Tini restaurant”.
The key day will be Saturday 15 June which will see, among other things, to the delight of many children, the presence of the AS Roma mascot, Romolo, in the city streets and in the places where the various events were organised.
From the morning until mid-afternoon, in the goldsmiths’ gallery, the private collection of one of the greatest collectors of historic AS Roma shirts in the world will be on display, with free entry. Giacomo Conti, Roma supporter from Forte dei Marmi, who has been collecting all the Giallorossi shirts since 1989.
This will be followed at 5.00 pm by the “institutional moment” in the Sala Maggiore of the Palazzo Comunale of Pistoia, with the delivery of an award to the managers of the Roma Clubs participating in the event by the Mayor, Alessandro TOMASI.
The Giallorossi caravan will then move to Piazza della Resistenza to the premises of “Fortezza 59” where, at 7.00 pm, the theatrical show “Ago nel cuore” will be staged, with free entry, with the actor Ariele Vincenti for the evening dedicated to the unforgettable captain Agostino Di Bartolomei. Followed by dinner, at the same venue, which will conclude the “Romanist day”.
Many wonderful surprises will cheer up the evening, including musical entertainment with Emiliano Stella and, to the delight of the children, the simultaneous presence of the AS Roma mascots, Romolo, and Collodi, Pinocchio, who will be preparatory to a possible collaboration in solidarity campaigns in which the Roma Club Città di Pistoia has always shown itself to be sensitive and operational.
And the surprises won’t end here! On the afternoon of Saturday 15th, a former Giallorossi goalkeeper from the nineties will arrive in the city, one of the players most loved by the Giallorossi people, Giovanni Cervone! The cuirassier will remain in the city until Sunday morning and will participate with great enthusiasm in some organized events and in particular in the evening dedicated to Agostino Di Bartolomei.
