Fiumicino – The “Beach Summer Sports Village 2024” will be inaugurated on June 14th at 7 pm on the Promenade della Salute in Fiumicino, at house number 56. The sand sports programme, promoted by the tourism department, will begin on Saturday 15 June, from 6pm to 9pm, with the Sky Sports event “International Beach Soccer Tour (IBST)”. Fiumicino will in fact be one of the summer stages that will host the prestigious tournament organized by the IBS league. The group, which will take place over two days, Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June from 8pm to 11pm, will see Italy, Brazil, Romania and Egypt competing.
At the end of the tournament, on Saturday 15 June at 9pm, the “UEFA EURO 2024” Italy – Albania match will be broadcast on the big screen installed on the beach.
“ We are thrilled to host a month of sporting events on the beach at “Beach Summer Sports Village 2024”. An initiative that not only promotes tourism in our city, but also offers a unique opportunity to watch high-level competitions. The Beach events will last until July 14th and will be accompanied by a series of entertainment initiatives.
