Solidarity and football. Friendship and sharing. It was a weekend, the one just ended, in which the yellow and blue colors were the protagonists. “Parma Forever”, a team that participates in charitable events in our territory and, sometimes, even outside the regional borders, gathered in Eraclea to participate in the twenty-third edition of the national veterinary doctors tournament during which funds were raised for Anffas (National Association of Families and People with intellectual disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders).

The trip saw many athletes, former footballers and friends of Parma Calcio on the pitch such as Davide Giorgino, Fausto Pizzi and Luca Mondini, Ferdinando Piro and Massimo Susic, Nicola Mora and Egidio Savi, Roberto Bottarelli and Paolo Benecchi.

The match against the national veterinary doctors team ended 3-0. In the first half, Manuel Nocciolini (assisted by Marco Giandebiaggi) and Stefano Morrone (winning pass by Marco Osio) scored in the first half. In the second half Sandro Melli also scored, from the chest, again following a serve from Giandbiaggi.

But what made the difference was the team spirit, the desire to help others, the laughter at the table, the endless games of “briscola in 5” while travelling. Magical atmosphere created by those who know how to feel good without the need for fireworks, remembering anecdotes from the past, matches played in Italy and Europe honoring the cross shirt.
