Carmine Parlatoformer coach of, among others, Padova, Latina and Trento, spoke to TuttoC.com to comment on the season that has just ended.
How can Avellino start again next year, after having been eliminated in the playoff semi-final against Vicenza?
“In the two matches they performed well, in the first leg they could have taken it home but Vicenza were very good at holding on and playing everything at home in front of their fans. As for Padova, what season was it?
“I consider the season to be good, even if I didn’t agree with the choice to sack Torrente with three days to go. The club will know the reason for this choice. There is talk of Andreoletti as Padova’s next coach, what can he bring?
“Andreoletti can be a valid alternative, he is a good coach. Padova’s problem is not the coach but rather continuity during the championship, when delicate moments have to be managed. Latina, what season was it?
“I congratulate my friend Fontana, who I have known since Padua. The square makes you work well and I know the club, I played and trained there. I wish Latina to have an even better championship than this year which is However, it has been very positive, especially since Fontana took over.”
Trento made the playoffs
“They did very well, Baldini did an excellent job and I’m sorry he didn’t stay. I know the environment well, it’s a positive and passionate place. How do you see it for next season?
“I think we will start again with many teams ready to go to Serie B, with many names, but in Lega Pro you have to stay on track from start to finish because it is a long championship.
