A shower of colors has conquered the heart of the city of Trapani. The second edition of Fashion Day, the fashion show of tailored creations held in the central Piazza Municipio, achieved great success, including with the public. The collection was entirely designed and created by the students of the “Professional textile and tailoring production” of the “S. Calvino-GBAmico” of Trapani who attended the day and evening Fashion courses, led by the tireless professors Rosetta Maffy and Salvo Aiuto who worked with great generosity to make the event a success.

The mayor Giacomo Tranchida opened the event and, together with the councilor Giuseppe Virzì, thanked the School for having organized the event in the city centre. The girls and boys also paraded, wearing the role of experienced men and women, among a joyful audience who did not lack encouragement and warmth. The collection, created during the school year, was dedicated to the sea, the sun and the beauty of the area, from the sportiest styles to the most elegant and refined ones, from cotton to silk, everything contributed to illuminating the catwalk.

They have also thought of everyone, dressing boys and girls, very young girls and ladies, thin women and curvy women but also young men. The Professional Fashion address, active at the “GB Amico” Institute in via Salemi in Trapani, presents itself as an innovative opportunity for young people who want to enter the great world of Fashion. But it is also a great opportunity for the less young people who, perhaps, have interrupted their schooling early. It’s never too late! The great success that the Evening Fashion course also recorded this year is proof of this.

The innovative teaching experience of having students of different generations work together to achieve a common goal is also exciting. The school director Margherita Ciotta was very satisfied and thanked teachers and students for the results obtained from the event.
