Messina, the Pon Metro told with the “GuardaME” exhibition

“Together we can grow”a journey through the projects and the Aces they transformed Messina in a smarter, more inclusive, more sustainable and closer to its citizens city, was the event held in recent days at PalaCultura “Antonello da Messina”. An important moment of sharing and public discussion regarding the results achieved by the municipal administration of Messina, attended by the Mayor, the General Director and IO, the Councilors who by proxy and the representatives of the subsidiaries involved in the implementation of the projects, to tell with the support of videos and images the various stages that the City of Messina has traveled with the important goals achieved in the creation of a timetable of projects through the use of the resources of the PON Metro 2014-2020, from the start to the closure of the Program .

Basile’s words

“What we tried to do and what we achieved thanks to the PON Metro was to imagine the ‘City of the future’ and try to create it, and we are already seeing the results. We had some ideas and we all worked as a great team to create the city we see today and we will try to continue on this path, offering new possibilities to citizens in the future too.”, said the mayor Federico Basile.

Puccio’s words

The satisfaction expressed by the Mayor was also reiterated by the general director and IO of the Municipality of Messina Salvo Puccio who adds: “the event was an opportunity to show where we started and where we managed to arrive thanks to PON Metro funds. Digital transition, green transition and social inclusion were the three macro-themes on which we worked with dedication and commitment, planning the numerous interventions that the Administration created and made available to citizens”.

The exhibition

The presentation of the results achieved by the City of Messina within the PON Metro 2014-2020 programming was enriched by the opening of an exhibition called “GuardaME, an exhibition of the Axes and projects in order to offer visitors the visual story of the results of what has been achieved. The exhibition set up, also at the Palacultura, can be visited until July 4th.
