Florence – 11 June 2024 – Moments of tension and violence this afternoon around 5.30 pm in Viale Talentsin the area ofIslet to Florence. A 14 year old boy was beaten up wildly and wound with a blade of one cyclist foreigner.

From what we learn from the witnesses, the young man was calmly walking with a friend on the sidewalk between the Coop and the petrol station, when the foreigner sped past them on the bicycle. The boy would therefore have grumbled at him, inviting him to use the appropriate one bicycle lane.

The stranger, although an adult, therefore stopped and resented the boy for the warning he received and would have given him a powerful blow. fist in his face, causing his nose to bleed and perhaps even breaking his nasal septum.

It didn’t end there: the cyclist, not satisfied with the violence already committed, would then pop a couple of scissors and with those he would have shot gods blows to the hands of the teenager. And it could have been even worse if someone courageous hadn’t intervened trader: Antonella, from her flower stand, heard the screams and noticed the commotion, so she went out to defend the two young people brandishing a broom to possibly keep further blows from the armed man at a distance.

“Poor little boy, he was full of bloodthey took him away in ambulance – she says – I went out screaming that I would have called the police and he stood his ground saying ‘go ahead, call the police, I don’t care’.”

However, the intervention served to stem the slaughter: the attacker is gone gone. Shortly afterwards the police arrived and are still investigating to trace his identity, while the young man was transferred to the emergency room in Torregalli fortunately his conditions did not appear serious.
