10 kilometers of the North Park, Tirelli and Brazzoli triumph

An approved and super-fast route to test your skills over 10 kilometres. Whoever decided to run the 10 kilometers of the North Park on Sunday 9 June did so mainly with this objective: to take advantage of this possibility put in place by the Sport Club Atletica Libertas Sesto ASD. of Sesto San Giovanni to understand your pace over the classic distance of road running.
And in the end there were so many who descended on the outskirts of Milan to compete and over 400 athletes reached the finish line.
33 minutes and 16 seconds, this is the time with which Paolo Tirelli (Ondaverde Athletic Team) managed to impose himself in the men’s race, a race conducted head-to-head with Lorenzo Barbieri and Davide Caputo. Everything was resolved in the last few metres. First place for Tirelli, second for Lorenzo Barbieri (Atl. VCA Milano) and third for Davide Caputo (Daini Carate Brianza). At the foot of the podium comes Simone Paredi (Atl. Pidaggia), fifth Loris Mandelli (Pol. Carugate).
The victory in the women’s race instead goes to Stefania Brazzoli (GS Lammari) with a time of 36’54” followed by Laura Galli (ASD Ortica Team Milano) and Giulia Spadoni (Runcard), fourth Daniela Leoni (Euroathletics 2002), fifth Stefania Imperato (La Michetta).
“We are very satisfied with the outcome of the event – ​​declares Paolo Cova, President of Libertas -. We found that the athletes were very satisfied with the organization and the route, appreciated for its speed. This way everyone was able to test their skills on this distance in the best possible conditions. We are therefore closing an edition that leaves us fully satisfied and gives us further relaunch for our initiatives and for the coming years”.
