In the European elections the first party in the province of Pavia was Fratelli d’Italia with 31.32%, ahead of the PD (19.15%), Lega (18.48%), Forza Italia (9.98%), 5 Star Movement (6.3%) and Alleanza Verdi Sinistra (5.43%). Turnout is decreasing: it was 56.2%, while in 2019 the percentage of voters in the provincial territory was 64.3%. In Pavia the voters were 59.8 percent, in Voghera 47.9% and in Vigevano 46.7%.
Coming to the preferences for the Pavia candidates in the European elections, in the League Angelo Ciocca was still the most voted candidate in the province of Pavia with 12,167 votes, followed by Elena Lucchini (7,893) and Roberto Vannacci (7,870). In the North-West constituency, Ciocca obtained 37,792 preferences (89,752 five years ago) ranking in fourth place behind Vannacci (179,326), Silvia Sardone (70,283) and Isabella Tovaglieri (38,471).
Silvia Piani, on the Forza Italia list, obtained 1,425 preferences in the North West constituency. The most voted in Forza Italia in the provincial territory were Antonio Tajani (3,914 preferences) and Letizia Moratti (1,560).
Ilaria Salis, of Alleanza Verdi Sinistra, was the most voted on the list in the North West constituency (125,887 preferences) and also in the province of Pavia (3,337). In the 5 Star Movement the most voted in the province of Pavia was Simone Verni (708 preferences).
In the Brothers of Italy in the North West constituency the most voted was Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni (593,854 preferences) ahead of Carlo Fidanza (46,419) and Mario Mantovani (37,294).
