Agri-food, b2b initiative to help companies with international commercial partnerships

Promote awareness of Made in Italy abroad and encourage companies to enter new markets. This is the objective of the B2B meetings organized by UniCredit as part of #italianEXPerience, a path created by the bank and dedicated to the export of the main Italian production chains, in order to facilitate the meeting between supply and demand and encourage the start of new international commercial partnerships. In Perugia, the initiative organized in collaboration with Confagricoltura Umbria, took place in Deruta, at the Rocca di Casalina. Here 7 buyers from Poland, Denmark, Bosnia, Hungary, Romania and Croatia met around thirty Umbrian companies in the agri-food sector, taking the opportunity to start new commercial partnerships.

Andrea Burchi, Regional Manager Centro Nord UniCredit explains: “Our Group has always supported the internationalization of companies, encouraging their consolidation and development even beyond national borders. Individual B2B meetings give agri-food entrepreneurs the opportunity to meet potential customers and promote their business in foreign countries, with the aim of attracting new market segments. Initiatives like this confirm our support for the agribusiness sector in Umbria and add to the consultancy and product solutions that we are able to offer to meet the real needs of companies and production chains”.

“We are satisfied with the operation carried out in collaboration with UniCredit – declares Fabio Rossi, president of Confagricoltura Umbria – which has always shown itself to be alongside the agricultural sector both for subsidized finance and for economic development initiatives. For the Umbrian companies of Confagricoltura, a dynamic approach that looks at the foreign market as a tool for business development and promotion of the regional territory is fundamental. The companies that participated in the initiative are already involved in collective marketing actions promoted by Confagricoltura Umbria such as, for example, the upcoming opening of the shop at the San Francesco international airport in Assisi”.
