While waiting for the results of the administrative elections in the 18 municipalities involved in the province of Lucca, here are the numbers from the European elections. After the Sunday evening vote, with 4 percentage points more than the national figure, Fratelli d’Italia is the leading party in the province of Lucca having obtained 32.13%. The Democratic Party, however, was exactly in line with the result at the Italian level and stopped at 24.35% in Lucca. The Five Star Movement did poorly with 8.22%, and the league stood at 7e82 against the national average of 9. This was followed by the least expected result, i.e. the 7.6% obtained by the Alleanza Verdi e Sinistra even ahead of the 6.85% of Forza Italia. Also in the province of Lucca, the centrists of the United States of Europe hold their ground with the 5.05 result not obtained at the national level where with 3.76% they did not exceed the barrier of 4. Finally in the 457 sections of the province of Lucca Action at 3.16, Peace Earth Dignity at 3.07, Sovereign Democracy 0.85%, Freedom 0.57% and Popular Alternative 0.83.
Out of 343,494 eligible voters, there were 165,584 voters, 5,751 blank ballots and 2,839 and 6 contested ballots.
