Andrea Lorenzon Explores Modena: a fascinating and ironic journey into Culture and Art

After telling his over 500 thousand followers about the beauties of Rimini, Parma and Reggio Emilia, the famous content creator Andrea Lorenzon returns with a new video dedicated to another pearl among the art cities of Emilia-Romagna: Modena – The video project, supported by Apt Servizi Emilia-Romagna, offers a fascinating look at the history, culture and food and wine traditions of Modena, masterfully combining dissemination and entertainment.

10/10/2024 – After the documentaries on Rimini, Parma and Reggio Emilia, Andrea Lorenzon’s journey through the beauties of Italy stops this time in the UNESCO city of Modena. The new mini-documentary created by the famous content creator will be released on Tuesday 11 June at 12.30 pm on the main social channels (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok), and on the official tourism promotion channels of the Emilia-Romagna region (@inEmiliaRomagna).

Almost entirely shot live, the video offers an original vision of the art and food and wine traditions of the Emilian city, proposing a new interpretation of its history, far from the classic tourist narrative stereotypes.

At the center of the narrative are the fascinating events of Modena, from its Roman roots to the present day, in a journey along the streets and arcades of its historic center, starting from the legendary artery of the Via Emilia.

Lorenzon guides followers to discover the most significant historical moments of Modena through its monuments, museums and illustrious people. The journey starts from the UNESCO site, with the Duomo and the Ghirlandina Tower; it then continues to the nearby Palazzo Comunale, then to Palazzo Ducale and the Casa Enzo Ferrari Museum. The video story does not lack the collections of the Estensi Galleries, enriched with anecdotes, culinary tastings and iconic places in the city centre. All this is accompanied by a focus on Traditional Balsamic Vinegar Dop, on the history of Panini stickers, on local gastronomy and on emblematic figures such as Lupo Alberto and Luciano Pavarotti, illustrious citizens of this Emilian city.

The video, created thanks to the support of the Tourist Promotion Company of the Emilia-Romagna Region (Apt Servizi Emilia-Romagna) and the collaboration of Visit Modena, promises to be another success of Andrea Lorenzon’s creative project History in the surrounding area”confirming his ability to combine education and entertainment in ever new and exciting ways.

Andrea Lorenzon, born in 1989 (Portogruaro, Venice), combines his skills in acting and animation to create the YouTube channel @CartoniMorti. This innovative project uses the art of digital animation to explore the facets of Italian society with sharp humor. Thanks to his talent, he has received numerous awards and his videos have captured the attention of institutions such as the European Parliament, Aido, Avis, CSI and Consumer House.

In recent years, Lorenzon has expanded his reach with a second YouTube channel, @Andrea Lorenzon, where he continues the project History in the surrounding area” with which he tells the story of the places he visits with sarcasm and irony.
