TERNI – A national health service tool that allows every citizen to have their health under control, safely accessing documents and health data. This is the novelty of the electronic health record. In agreement with the Umbria Region, the company Local Health Authority Umbria 2 has published on the institutional website http://www.uslumbria2.it and also disseminated via social media all the useful information on the file, the contacts of the company services to provide clarifications , involved and trained health professionals and ensured the widest and most detailed knowledge of the right to object to the inclusion of health data prior to 18 May 2020 to feed the electronic health record.
The ESF allows citizens to access their medical history data, such as laboratory and radiology reports, specialist and pharmaceutical prescriptions, hospital discharge letters and emergency room reports. These documents can be consulted online by the patient and, if the citizen wishes, also by authorized healthcare professionals for treatment purposes. One of the advantages of using the ESF is to have your health documentation available, in digital form, anytime and anywhere, even in emergency situations that require very short intervention times.
