European elections, PD first party in Modena, turnout decreasing

Voters at 63.66%, less than 70.9% in 2019 and 74.66 in the 2022 elections

MODENA – 88,316 people from Modena voted in the European elections, 63.66% of those entitled to vote (in the municipal elections the voters reached 62.27%).

Pd 38,131 votes (44.44%)
Brothers of Italy 19,068 (22.23%)
Green Left Alliance 6,440 (7.51%)
5 Star Movement 5,584 (6.51%)
Forza Italia – We Moderates – Ppe 4,419 (5.15%)
League Prime Minister Salvini 3,784 (4.41%)
Action – We are Europeans 3,249 (3.79%)
United States of Europe 2,505 (2.92%)
Peace Earth Dignity 1,814 (2.11%)
Freedom 470 (0.55%)
Popular alternative 245 (0.29 %)

Between preferences in the Democratic Party there were 14,283 votes for Stefano Bonaccini, then Giuditta Pini 2,161, Elisabetta Gualmini 2,053, Alessandro Zan 1,346. For Fratelli d’Italia Giorgia Meloni collected 4,760 votes, Stefano Cavedagna 1,279. For Lega Prime Minister Salvini 1,259 preferences for Roberto Vannacci, 114 for Stefano Bargi. For the Alleanza Verdi Sinistra (Avs): Domenico Lucano 803 votes, Paolo Trande 594, Alessandra Filippi 225. Mohamad Kamel Malak was the most voted for the 5 Star Movement. Forza Italia – We Moderates – EPP: Antonio Tajani 453 votes, Antonio Platis 155. In Action – We are Europeans Umberto Costantini reached 311 votes, with Carlo Calenda at 255. In the United States of Europe Giulia Pigoni obtained 271 votes. Michele Santoro reached 471 votes in Peace Earth Dignity; in the Libertà list Francesco Amodeo 71 votes; in the Popular Alternative Alberto Bosi 41 votes, in the SVP Roberta Bergamo 3.
