PRESS RELEASE – «Catania Football Club announces that it has definitively acquired from the Lazio Sports Club the right to the sporting performances of the footballer Marius Adamonis, who has signed a multi-year contract joining our club from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2026 with an option for the 2026 season/ 2027.
Born on 13 May 1997 in Panevėžys, Lithuania, he made his national team debut in 2022.
After his debut in his homeland with Atlantas Klaipeda, first in the top flight and subsequently in a match valid for the Europa League qualifiers, the goalkeeper arrived in Italy in 2016.
He completed his football training in the Lazio Primavera.
In Serie B, he spent two years with Salernitana, contributing to their promotion to Serie A in 2021.
In C, he wore the shirts of Casertana, Catanzaro, Sicula Leonzio and Perugia: with the Umbrian team, in the tournament just concluded, he made 36 appearances, keeping a clean sheet on 15 occasions”.
