“Victims like us of this unworthy scenario. Our support is for you alone”, read a banner hung yesterday on the fence of the Sorrentino camp in Collemarino. And that support was not only there. But it turned into energy for the legs, adrenaline for the heart and oxygen for the lungs. Because then on the pitch, in the most beautiful and incredible page of a Sunday marked by rivers of words, Ancona’s Under 17 team managed to achieve a sensational result by beating Benevento 3-1 in the return match of the quarterfinals, after the 2 -3 of the first leg, and taking off to the semi-final for the category Scudetto. As if nothing had happened. Just thinking about doing what 16 year olds should do: play and have fun. Here is the masterpiece served by Mr. Bilò’s team, supported by dozens and dozens of red and white fans who responded to the call from Curva Nord. The ultras entered right into the kick-off, waving flags, banners and scarves. First the usual chants towards the top management, from Roberta Nocelli to Mauro Canil, passing through Tony Tiong.
