Bologna, 10 June 2024 – Under the Towers the Democratic Party doubles as Brothers of Italy, with the Dems confirming themselves as the first political force in the province, once again a red stronghold. In the Municipality of Bologna the Democratic Party stands at 41.11% with 70,063 votes against 20.29 percent of Melonians (34,579 votes). They follow Green Left Alliance with 12.39% (21,112 votes), 5 Star Movement at 6.78% (11,561), Forza Italia-We Moderates-EPP with 4.18% (7,120), United States of Europe at 4.03% (6,974), Action at 3.80% (6,472), Peace, Earth and Dignity at 3.32% (5,667), League at 3.28% (5,587), Freedom with 0.54% (915), Popular alternative with 0.21% (350) e Sudtiroler Volksartei-Svp to 0.08% (41).
European elections, the results in Bologna city
The most voted in Bologna is the governor Stefano Bonaccini with 28,693 preferences. Behind Giorgia Meloni with 17,266 votesfollowed by her party colleague Stefano Cavedagna with 9,743 preferences. Domenico LucanoAvS’s leader in the north-east constituency, received 6,632 votes in Bologna.
Returning to the Democratic Party, the second most voted is Alessandro Zan with 6,625 votes, just below the outgoing MEP Elisabetta Gualmini (6,552), Annalisa Corrado (6.552) e Antonio Mumolo (6.117). Further back Giuditta Pini with 2,806 votes, Alessandra Moretti (2,754) and the duo expression of Volt composed of the very young girl Silvia Panini (1.573) e Marcello Saltarelli (1.102). In FdI, they place themselves behind the prime minister and Cavedagna Guglielmo Garagnani (1,496 votes). Further down Piergiacomo Sibiano (956 preferences).
For Avs, behind Lucano, here Cristina Look with 2,029 votes. Among the Five Stars, the most voted name is that of Sabrina Pignedoli (827 preferences), the minister is there for Forza Italia Antonio Tajani (1,689 votes), behind Alessandra Servidori (344). Antonella Soldo it is the most voted in the United States of Europe (813 votes), behind is the leader in the north-east Graham Watson (554). Carlo Calenda of Action gets 1,146 votes, behind Federico Pizzarotti (605). Above two thousand Michele Santoro of Peace Earth Dignity (2,002 votes) and the general Roberto Vannacci (2,758 preferences).
European elections 2024, the vote in the province
Looking at the province as a whole, the European elections see the Democratic Party as the first party 40.28% (89,448 votes at metropolitan city level), ahead of FdI with the 24.52% (15.315), Alleanza Verdi Sinistra with the8.49% (39,924) and the M5s al 7.33% (34,472). Boom in votes for Stefano Bonaccini: 71,524. Behind are Gualmini (12,511) and Corrado (11,005), then Zan (10,567) and Mumolo (10,268). For FdI Meloni arrives at 42,556 votesCavedagna a 20,983. Looking at the various municipalities, we see among the main ones Casalecchio and the Pd at 44.69% with 7,689 votes, FdI with 22.20%, 3,819 preferences Avs with 7.85% and 1,350 votes and Five Star at 7.17% (1,233). TO Castel San Pietro the Dems reach 43.47% (4,603 votes), FdI second at 27.51% (2,913), Five Star at 5.92% (627) and Avs at 5.49% (581). In Medicina Pd at 40.70% (3,304), FdI at 25.10 (2,037) and Five Star at 8.93% (725).
TO Molinella the first party is that of Giorgia Meloni: Fratelli d’Italia reaches 37.10% and 2,800 preferences. The Democratic Party follows with 29.28% (2,210) and the League with 8.44% (637). TO Pianoro The PD is back in the lead with 40.41% (3,747 votes), ahead of FdI at 26.10% (2,420), Avs at 6.78% (629) and M5s at 6.52% (605). TO San Giovanni in Persiceto the Dems are at 38.33% (4,949) and FdI at 27.78% (3,587), third force is the Five Star Movement at 7.25% (936 votes). TO Saint Lazarus Pd again at 41.70% (6,981), then FdI at 26.15% (4,378) and vs at 7.14 (.196).
In Valsamoggia Pd is still in first place with 41.47% (6,085 preferences) ahead of FdI with 26.07 (3,825) and M5s with 7.68% (1,127). Finally, here it is Zola Predosawith the Pd at 45.03% (4,379 votes) and FdI at 24.57% (2,389), ahead of the M5s at 6.58% (640) and Avs at 6.30 (613).
