The Polesine Circuit, whose history was reconstructed through research at the Alfa Romeo documentation center and the Tazio Nuvolari museum in Mantua, was held on 1 June 1924 starting from the Spianata area of Rovigo and crossing Borsea, Pontecchio, Guarda Veneta, Polesella, Arquà Polesine and Grignano to then return to the starting point. Among the participants in the competition stood out names of great importance such as the young Enzo Ferrari, Tazio Nuvolari and Vincenzo Balestrero. Ferrari won the race after lapping the ring 15 times aboard his Alfa Romeo Rl-Tf 3000cc, maintaining an average speed above 110 kilometers per hour. The victory in Polesine, achieved despite the tough competition with Nuvolari (who competed with a Chiribiri Monza model car with a smaller displacement), represented the third success of his career.
