Last day to vote: turnout in the municipal elections at 12 almost 32%. At the European Championships Molise reaches 24.3%

The average turnout at 12pm today, Sunday 9 June, for the administrative bodies in the 54 Municipalities of Molise called to renew the mayor and municipal council was approximately 31.9%. Specifically, it stood at a percentage of 32 in the 34 municipalities of the province of Campobasso and 30.44, therefore lower, in the 20 voting in the province of Isernia.

12 PM: TERMOLI AT 33%, CAMPOBASSO AT 34.6%

The average turnout for the administrative elections in the 34 municipalities where voting is held in the province of Campobasso rose to 32%, whereas yesterday evening, when the polls closed, it stopped at around 20%. Higher than average voting percentages are confirmed in San Martino in Pensilis (42.07) and Campomarino (40.26). In Campobasso the percentage of voters is equal to 34.69% while in Termoli it is slightly lower, at 33.68%. The lowest percentage was recorded in Castelmauro where it was approximately 17.5%.

ISERNIA PROVINCE, TURNOVER AT 30.4%.

In the 20 municipalities of the province of Isernia, the turnout at 12pm stood at 30.44%, confirming a figure slightly lower than the average of the province of the capital. The highest percentages, above 40%, were recorded in Castel del Giudice, Cerro al Volturno, Fornelli, Macchia d’Isernia (above 46%), Pozzilli, Rocchetta a Volturno. The lowest figures, around 15%, are in Filignano and Castelverrino.

EUROPEAN REGIONS, MOLISE TURNOVER BETTER THAN OTHER SOUTHERN REGIONS

In the Southern Italy constituency, as regards the turnout for the European elections, Molise remains the region with the highest percentage, which stood at 12pm on Sunday 9 June at 24.3% compared to an average of 21%. Molise is therefore better than Puglia, Abruzzo, Basilicata, Campania and Calabria, at the bottom of the provisional ranking on voter participation.

The turnout at 12pm today for the European elections in Molise was 24.33%. Precisely, in the 264 sections of the province of Campobasso it was 26.1%, while in the 129 sections of the province of Isernia the figure is slightly lower, equal to 20%.

LAST DAY TO VOTE

The polling stations, closed yesterday at 11pm, were reopened this morning at 7am and voting will be possible until 11pm. This is the turnout at the first survey on Saturday.

DE BENEDITTIS VOTED AT 11AM AT COLOZZA

Almost all the mayoral candidates of Campobasso and Termoli chose the first available day to vote. Aldo De Benedittis, the centre-right candidate of the capital, instead went to the polling station (section 32 of Colozza) at around 11am today, Sunday.

CANDIDATES BECCI AND PATRICIELLO VOTE FOR THE EUROPEANS

The candidates in the Southern Constituency, Annamaria Becci (PD) and Aldo Patriciello (Lega) from Molise voted yesterday (the first) and today (the second) respectively in Guglionesi and Pozzilli, their municipalities of residence.
