Fiorentina wants Mateo Retegui, but not so quickly. Genoa has no need to sell and raises the stakes for their center forward
Mateo Retegui is a target for Fiorentina for the next market. The Genoa striker could represent the classic element capable of giving that something extra to a department like the Viola’s offensive one which revealed more than one problem last season and beyond. But taking him away from the Grifone won’t be easy, given that Gilardino has found the key to salvation in the feeling with Gudmundsson of the Italian-Argentine. According to the newspaper, the 20 million valuation that Fiorentina made cannot be enough to convince the club: the 15 million paid out last summer with a percentage on future resale allow only a minimal capital gain on Retegui and would leave a void in the department. Translated: without particular obligations to sell below 30 million there is no question of it.
