Grandma Rosa also recounted her experience, the one she saw involved during a walk: a punch in the face thrown for no reason, the fear now that she dominates and the perception of not feeling safe outside the home. A journey to the key points of the city, from the churchyard of Sant’Anna, reduced to a landfill, to the main drug dealing square, that of Carmine, where the journalist is offered drugs, casually, in broad daylight. Fights and stabbings, which are now almost daily, the images follow one another and, with them, the many comments from citizens who are increasingly worried about the phenomenon. Not only that: the journey continues at the entrance to the city, precisely under the overpass that connects the center to the airport: a shantytown, cardboard and tents where dozens of homeless immigrants live at night. The neighborhood committees have been reporting the situation for some time, the local news reports news that confirms the perception of Cagliari as no longer a safe place and extraneous to the events that characterize the large Italian metropolises.
