The video of the abuse of a 12-year-old girl, victim of her own boyfriend who was a few years older, could still be circulating among the chats of kids in Modena and its province. It is the second case of sexual violence between very young people in just over a month to emerge from the Modena area. And once again the victim is just 12 years old. The facts date back to last week, when the 12-year-old, a student living in Modena, was forced to undergo sexual intercourse with what she considered her boyfriend. This is a 15 year old boy. This time the incident took place in broad daylight, near a bus station in Vignola. And filming the whole scene would have been a friend of the 15-year-old who was just a year older, who made the video with his mobile phone which ended up in some chats of teenagers in the area.
The previous
Last May, again in the Modena area, a 12-year-old confided in her parents, to whom she told what had happened in her bedroom. With her there were two boys aged 15 and 16, as well as one of her friends. During that evening at the girl’s house, the two young men allegedly raped her. And there would also be videos of that abuse, taken with the mobile phone of the victim’s friend. The minors’ prosecutor’s office is investigating the case for gang sexual violence.
The new case
In Vignola the violence against the 12-year-old student apparently occurred after school. The girl with her 15-year-old boyfriend and her 16-year-old friend looked for an isolated place to isolate themselves. As reported by Il Giorno, the 12-year-old was also threatened by her boyfriend: “If you don’t do what I tell you, I’ll leave you.” So she would have forced her to have sexual intercourse. Meanwhile, the other boy allegedly attacked the 12-year-old, laughing at her and humiliating her, while he filmed the scene with his cell phone. And then she sent the video in chat to friends, with several forwardings.
The complaint
A few hours after the violence, the 12-year-old confided in a psychologist. At that point the family was notified and then reported to the police. The Modena prosecutor’s office is investigating the case. The postal police acquired the video. In the last few hours, officers have searched the homes of the alleged perpetrators. The two boys are now under investigation for sexual assault on a minor and dissemination of child pornography.
